Healthcare Branch - Agile and Healthcare: Building Agility into How We Enable Care
Synopsis:
A panel-style discussion where panelists will discuss how challenges seen in project management are addressed in both traditional and Agile ways. The panelists will be representatives from clients that we’ve had engagements with previously, from various industries. Representative industries will likely include: Public Sector, Healthcare, and Financial Services.
The differing perspectives, one favouring traditional methods, and one favouring Agile methods, are designed to spark a healthy debate. The panelists will also do some ‘mythbusting’ related to the two methods as part of the discussion.
Participants will gain insight into situations where it may be more suitable to use one method over the other, pros and cons of each, and the industry trends.
Learning Objectives:
- Develop a basic understanding of Agile concepts that can be applied outside of a traditional software development setting.
- Develop a basic understanding of transformational projects with a Healthcare lens including common challenges and key perspectives on transformation.
- Gain insight from industry case studies on how Agile concepts and tools have been applied in a Healthcare setting.
