PMI Toronto Chapter Meeting
Title: Learning the Art of Persuasion
Giving presentations or “public speaking” often tops the list of fears that people have. Presentation and facilitation skills are vital to success in today’s fast-paced work environment. We need these critical skills to manage team meetings, motivate groups and individuals, persuade others to take actions, present to senior management, deliver bad news to staff, facilitate meetings, and work with regulators, superiors, customers and suppliers. The presentation should be of interest to a wide range of professionals from all industries.
The attendees will learn key steps for making a successful presentation and engaging the audience for a successful outcome. They will know how to organize and deliver a presentation, engage the audience, and make effective use of visuals. Guidelines for understanding the “what”, “when” and “how” of facilitation skills will be provided. Come and Learn the steps to enhance your skills for a successful career.
