Title: PM Standards: What's New and Why It Matters
Synopsis:
In the interconnected world of the 21st century, the only option is to adapt or perish. Companies operating in their own bubble are destined to follow the path of dinosaurs. They may be big and powerful today, but unless they can adapt and interoperate with others their future is not promising.
With more and more projects involving multiple organizations, consistent project management across the entire initiative is more than a competitive advantage; it is a mandatory condition for success. Keeping up with PMI and ISO standards changes is a crucial part of this adaptation process.
This session will summarize everything you need to know about the recent changes in the PMBOK 6th edition and the family of ISO standards for project management, and their impact on your company, and your project, programme and portfolio management practice.
