Overview: Lean Six Sigma –Standard has been put together in contemporary perspective to build and leverage the skills of Project Managers and other professionals (in Engineering, Manufacturing operations, Healthcare, Supply Chains, Banks, Retails, Government, etc.) to drive process and quality to excellence. The program revolves around DIMAC and Lean enterprise, for quality and value adding mindset to become customer centric, reduce waste and redundancy, reduce operating and service costs, and continuously improving profitability and or customer satisfaction. We have drawn from industry experts globally to present live cases that will provide solutions to participants’ organizations’ immediate and future needs. This program is presented in the simplest vocabulary possible to balances Six Sigma DAMIC and Lean principles for the purpose of optimizing result, as it guides participants to use most appropriate tools relevant to their business environment. It is expected that participants will come out preferred professional in their industries.

Minitab 17 is demonstrated for process Analysis and Charts (better option to manual calculations)

 Learning objectives:

  • This program will guide participants through DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control) Roadmap and its applications, complementary to project management methodology.
  • It will explain the concepts of six sigma and lean, and their synergy in process delivery.
  • Using Define, we lead participants through defining Business/product/service as IS and mapping Voice of the customer (VOC) to achieve new and improved product/service delivery that optimizes value for the stakeholders.
  • Participants are walked through processes to determine root causes of problems or defects using appropriate tools, as well prioritize solutions within business constraints as finance, risk and available resource
  • The program will take participants to understand measurement tools, and calculate process capabilities and performance to determine efficiency and effectiveness of process
  • We will go through project methodologies and techniques that could be stand alone or components of larger projects, such as Kaizen and Kaizen blitz, FMEA, TPM, 8D, Prioritization Matrix, Solution Design matrix, 5S , 7 waste solutions
  • Participants will learn on how to control process and improve it using appropriate diagrams/graphs (Run chart, scatter diagram) from data studies and manipulations.
  • Live examples will be presented from delays in services, downtime issues, engineering reconfigurations, lead time and cycle time concerns in manufacturing, Rolled Throughput Yield Overall Equipment Effectiveness, supply chain and logistic issues etc.
  • Significant Healthcare examples are provided in most of the topics
  • Participants will have the option to write relevant post course examination for certification, or be awarded Certificate for successful completion of the course in Lean six Sigma Green Belt.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this program, Participants will be able to:
