Synopsis:
Join PMI Toronto in celebrating the holiday season with fellow members and guests. Mix, mingle, network and have a bunch of laughs!
You will have a unique opportunity to learn about the key principles of Disciplined Agile (DA) from Scott Ambler, the co-creator of the DA toolkit. DA toolkit is an industry-leading approach that helps the teams to make informed choices of their way of working (WoW) in a context-sensitive manner. It also provides organizations a solid foundation for business agility and better decision making. In August of 2019, the Project Management Institute (PMI) announced an acquisition of DA, which allows to address new ways of functioning in an increasingly agile world.

Biography:
Scott Ambler is the Vice President, Chief Scientist of Disciplined Agile at PMI, who leads the evolution of the DA toolkit. Scott is the co-creator of the DA toolkit as well as the Agile Modeling (AM) and Agile Data (AD) methodologies. He is the co-author of several books, including Choose Your WoW!, An Executive’s Guide to Disciplined Agile, Refactoring Databases, Agile Modeling, Agile Database Techniques, and The Object Primer 3rd Edition.
