Synopsis:

In this unique presentation, Ricardo Young (Dr. Rico), an expert in why projects fail, questions the traditional interpretation of project failure and introduces a new lens through which project failure can be viewed, with an emphasis on macro-level risk management. Dr. Young is an accomplished professional with a graduate degree in macroeconomics and advanced PMI certifications, including the PMP, PgMP, and PfMP. With a Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) and Scrum Master accreditation, Dr. Young brings a wealth of expertise to the table.
Over the course of more than 20 years, Dr. Young has excelled in managing and leading large, complex infrastructure-related projects, programs, and portfolios within the banking and telecommunications industries. Dr. Young's project management skill ranges from Project Director to Senior Program/Portfolio Manager.
What sets Dr. Young apart is the ability to adapt to project requirements, utilizing extensive experience in both agile (with over 7 years of experience) and traditional waterfall project delivery methodologies.
