In the leadership journey, the importance of building an effective team and developing the necessary skills is often underestimated. New managers tend to focus on project deliverables, sometimes overlooking the critical task of building and leading a cohesive, high performing team.
Esmeralda Prifti, our speaker, will share her personal experiences and evidence-based research on the power of participative leadership. She will discuss how to motivate and engage employees, manage conflict effectively, and, most importantly, build a high-performance team that drives success.

Esmeralda has over 20 years of experience in project and program management within the non-profit, public sector, and post-secondary education. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work and Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Tirana, Albania. Additionally, she has completed a Post-Master’s Advance Diploma in Social Services Administration and a Lean Sigma Certificate, both from the University of Toronto.
Esmeralda’s leading philosophy is built on the principles of organizational transformation through team empowerment. She believes that leadership is not a solo effort, but a collective endeavor aimed at achieving the great good.
