As Microsoft continues to evolve its project management tools, the future of Project Online is a topic of significant interest. This session will explore Microsoft's commitment to Project Online, the differences between Project Online and Planner Premium (Project for the web), migration scenarios, and alternatives for Project Portfolio Management (PPM) software

 

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand Microsoft's current stance and future plans for Project Online, including any ongoing support and updates.
  • Learn the key differences between Project Online and Planner Premium, also known as Project for the web, and how these tools cater to different project management needs.
  • Explore various migration scenarios for organizations transitioning from Project Online to Project for the web or other project management tools.
  • Discover alternative PPM software solutions that can be considered as replacements or complements to Project Online.

Rolly Perreaux is President / Business Solutions Architect at PPM Global Solutions Inc., a Microsoft PPM Partner in Canada that specializes in Project & Portfolio Management.

Rolly has over 30 years of business experience in Network Information Systems, Project Management, and Finance and Administration at the Executive/Managerial level. He has a Bachelor of Science in IT and Business Administration diploma and designations from PMI, Microsoft, IBM, Compaq, CheckPoint, and CompTIA and was a Microsoft MVP for Project for 5 years.
