Synopsis:
Do you find yourself known as “the project management expert” at your organization?
Many of us hold this title, formally or informally, which can carry with it both positive and negative elements. In this session we’ll discuss a framework for defining and establishing your personal brand as a project management expert, leveraging that brand for your career development, and avoiding many of the common pitfalls that can accompany this designation.

- Discover how to establish yourself to further grow your role as a project management expert and asset to your organization.
- Determine how to leverage the value of your personal brand for maximum personal and organizational benefit while avoiding potential risks and pitfalls.
- Explore methods for tracking the people and resources that contribute to your growth.

Tyler Norman, MBA, PMI-ACP, PMI-PBA, PMP, PMO-CP, PgMP, is a passionate, energetic and results-driven project leader with 15 years of experience spanning industrial and commercial construction, manufacturing, energy, and publishing. He is a Director, Strategic Supply Chain Programs with Scholastic Inc., and a regular speaker at events including PMI Global and PMI local chapters. He is passionate about standing up PMOs (with direct experience across multiple organizations), mentoring project staff in their career development, and leading cultures for high performance and inclusivity.
