In this session, Eric Wand will delve into emerging topics such as Tech Intensity, Citizen Developers, and how the Healthcare industry is embracing this new technologically enabled landscape.
Speaker Bio: Eric Wand
Since June 2016, Eric Wand has been the Head of IT for Microsoft Canada responsible for the entire technology experience from the modern workplace to spearheading projects enabling business outcomes. Beyond the IT service portfolio, a core responsibility is owning and driving the strategic deployment of Microsoft’s Digital IT & Field Transformation which he lives and breathes every day!
Before joining Microsoft, Eric Wand held various leadership positions over a 10-year career within the pharmaceutical industry across shared services, strategy, and cloud solutions. He’s also an active member of Kiva.org supporting people through micro-financing to alleviate poverty, a member of CIO Association of Canada, and PMP certified since 2014 and an active mentor for would-be PMP professionals.
