Greg will demonstrate some key components of Synchro and its capabilities—showing how 4D planning is being adapted today, how organizations are using 4D for tendering, health and safety, and for real-time production tracking. What is involved and how to start using it in your organizations. Finally, what are the challenges and how for is it away from replacing MS Project, P6, and Asta?
Thomas Strong
An Entrepreneur, Investor and Technologist, after exiting the Automotive sector, Thomas has worked in Project Management,
built Virtual Design and Construction departments, led strategy as the Chief Technology Officer for one of North America’s
largest construction companies, and co-founded industry non-for-profits. Thomas currently acts on the board of directors for
several startups and is the President & CEO of CanBIM, which is Canada’s largest Building & Infrastructure focused technology
& Innovation Organization. As a Construction industry consultant, Thomas helps Canada’s most advanced builders develop new
innovations to create new profits and remain competitive.
Greg Demchak
Greg Demchak has been driving the design and development of digital design and construction products for the last 20 years. Educated as an architect, he switched gears from architecture to software design in 2000 when he joined Revit Technology, where he continued to design BIM products for Autodesk after being acquired. He then went on to join Synchro Software as the Director of Product Management, which was acquired by Bentley Systems in 2018. He now leads the Construction Innovation Lab for Bentley Systems with a focus on developing functional prototypes in collaboration with customers and internal development teams
