The Virtual Project Management Professional (PMP)® Exam Preparation Course
The PMP® certification exam content is changing. December 31, 2020, will be the last day to write the current version of the exam.
The PMP is one of the most recognized and most sought-after professional credentials in the world.
This course is intended for individuals preparing to write the PMI certification exam to obtain either their PMP or CAPM designations. In this course, students will review the PMBOK knowledge areas, best practices, and skills that are essential to professional project management
PMP Certification Prerequisites:
Candidates applying for certification as Project Management Professionals must satisfy the educational and experiential requirements for one of the following categories listed below and agree to abide by the Project Management Institute’s Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.
- A secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree, or the global equivalent)
- Minimum Five (5) years of Project Management experience
- 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® Certification
Your Project Management experience must total a minimum of sixty (60) unique non-overlapping months of professional project management experience, leading and directing the project as identified with the tasks, knowledge, and skills specific in the Project Management Professional Examination Content Outline.
OR
- A four-year degree (bachelor’s degree or university equivalent)
- Minimum three (3) years of Project Management experience
- 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® Certification
Your Project Management experience must total a minimum of thirty-six (36) unique non-overlapping months of professional project management experience, leading and directing the project as identified with the tasks, knowledge, and skills specific in the Project Management Professional Examination Content Outline.
OR
- Bachelor’s or post-graduate degree from a GAC accredited program (bachelor’s degree or master’s or global equivalent)
- Minimum two (2) years of Project Management experience
- 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® Certification
Your Project Management experience must total a minimum of twenty-four (24) unique non-overlapping months of professional project management experience, leading and directing the project as identified with the tasks, knowledge, and skills specific in the Project Management Professional Examination Content Outline.

PMI Ontario Chapters virtual PMP Exam Preparation Course based on PMBOK 6th Edition runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00 p.m. - 9:45 p.m., from September 15 to October 15, 2020.

- Module 1 - Course Overview, Exam Overview, and Chapters 1-3 of PMBOK – Introduction of the Framework-PMBOK Version 6.0
- Module 2 - Project Integration Management (Chapter 4) – Process Flow, and Integration Management Processes
September 17th:
- Module 3 - Project Scope Management (Chapter 5)
September 22nd:
- Module 4 - Project Cost Management (Chapter 7)
September 24th:
- Module 5 – Project Schedule Management (Chapter 6)
September 29th:
- Module 6 – Project Quality Management (Chapter 8)
October 1st :
- Module 7 – Project Resource Management (Chapter 9)
October 6th :
- Module 8 – Project Communications Management (Chapter 10)
- Module 10 – Project Stakeholders Management (Chapter 13)
October 8th:
- Module 9 – Project Risk Management (Chapter 11)
October 13th:
- Module 11 – Project Procurement Management (Chapter 12)
October 15th :
- Module 12 – Agile, Ethics and Wrap-Up
- Modules 2-12 also include group discussion on sample exam questions.
Course Fees
PMI DHC Members: $975 + HST
Non-Members: $1,175 + HST

Cancellations must be received by 5:00 p.m., five (5) business days before the event and must be sent in writing by email to [insert email here] There will be a 20% administration fee charged for cancellations, subtracted from the refund. Cancellation/refund requests will not be accepted less than five (5) business days before the event. Substitutions, however, are welcome.
