Join us for an interactive session to look at simple ways for non-Black colleagues to support Black colleagues in our workplaces especially through the lens of Allyship.

This session takes the Canadian workplace into account, looking at the frequent forms of workplace racism and the anti-racism response to them.

The objective of the sessions will be to:

  • Understand the term “ally” – what it is and what it is not
  • Learn key skills and concrete actions needed to lead project teams that supports allyship and demonstrates a project culture, which is inclusive, diverse and anti-racist
  • Provide a forum for empathetic, “breathable” dialogue between Black and non-Black colleagues about being an ally.
