Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM) Exam Preparation Course

Begin your agile journey learning multiple agile approaches; understand how to use the Disciplined Agile (DA) tool kit and find your way of working (WoW). Comprehensive training introduces leading agile and lean approaches like Scrum, Kanban, SAFe® and more that frees you from any single agile framework and opens your options. While this course provides an opportunity to certify as a DA Scrum Master, the skills learned are valuable to any team member.

In just two days, you’ll become familiar with foundational agile and lean practices that DA supports, practice using the tool kit to solve problems and learn how to build high-performance teams.

You Will Learn:

  • Understand the Disciplined Agile mindset and its underlying principles, such as pragmatism, the power of choice and adapting to context.
  • Explore multiple leading agile and lean approaches like Scrum, Kanban, SAFe® and more.
  • Learn about the fundamentals of agile and lean, and how to use both approaches effectively.
  • Understand how to put these strategies into action on your agile team and ensure effective implementation.
  • Learn how to apply the Disciplined Agile tool kit to discover the best way of working (WoW) for you and your agile team in your unique situation.
  • Be prepared to take the Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM) Certification exam. Your exam fee is included in the tuition.

This is an Authorized Training Partner course approved by PMI and is a 2-day workshop to write the DASM exam.

DASM Certification Requirements:

  • No agile experience is required – this is introductory training and certification built to educate you on agile and lean fundamentals and the Disciplined Agile tool kit with skills to immediately apply what you have learned. 
  • 2-day training workshop by an Authorized Training Partner (ATP)

Course Details:

The PMI Toronto Chapters virtual Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM) Exam Preparation Course will be held on Saturday, April 17th and Sunday, April 18th from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Included Course Materials

  • 14 hours of live instructor-led material
  • 14 PDUs – Talent Triangle allocation (7) Leadership and (7) Technology
  • Access to digital materials through the PMI CHOICE web portal – Each student will receive 1 year’s access
  • One (1) exam attempt within 30 days of completing the two (2) day course.

The Choose Your WoW! book is not included in the price for the course but this document is essential for the preparation course and the exam. The downloadable version is free for PMI members and non-members can purchase the guide at on Amazon.
