Title: The Key to Successful Strategic Transformation Projects
Levio Consulting specializes in delivering benefits through the delivery of complex and high visibility projects in large organizations. They will share their experience and perspective on how to transform high-risk projects into resounding successes. To demonstrate this, the speaker, Francois Dion, will refer to the major transformation program currently underway in Desjardins General Insurance Group that Levio is leading.
Biography:
Mr. François Dion, the proud President of Levio, a high-growth company, specializing in transforming organizations and information technologies since 2013, is a passionate and visionary leader, recognized for being an excellent unifier.
Mr. Dion graduated in Business Administration from the University of Laval. He started his career by creating a construction company and continued developing his entrepreneurial skills by starting a consulting company in information technology.
Mr. Dion then joined Société Conseil Groupe LGS Québec where he held multiple key positions and was ultimately promoted to Vice-President and Head of Operations of the Quebec City Branch. Since 2013, Mr. Dion has held the role of President and Head of Operations at Levio, a rapidly growing consulting firm with an enviable reputation in the technology consulting market that he proudly created.
Simultaneously to his civilian career, Mr. Dion had been an active member in the Canadian Armed Forces for a period of 20 years. He has held several positions and was promoted to the rank of Commander of the oldest French-Canadian regiment, the Voltigeurs de Québec.
Very involved in his community, Mr. Dion contributes actively by participating on different committees and in organizations, such as Centraide (United Way) and Mon Avenir TI. He encourages his colleagues to participate in different causes to help build a better community.

Cancellations must be received by 5:00 pm, 5 business days before the event and must be sent in writing by email to events@pmitoronto.ca. There will be a 20% administration fee charged for cancellations, subtracted from the refund. Cancellation/refund requests will not be accepted less than 5 business days before the event. However, substitutions are welcome. Please let us know by 12:00 noon the day before the event of the person you wish to substitute by emailing events@pmitoronto.ca.
Photography & Filming: Photographs, audio, and video are sometimes captured during PMI-SOC events.
